Building APIs, authentication systems, and payment workflows with Java Springboot & Docker
Hi, I'm Dhruv Dhayal — a Software Engineer who learns by building real systems, breaking them, and fixing them properly.
I work primarily with Java Springboot and Docker, building backend systems around authentication, payments, APIs, concurrency, and asynchronous workflows. My projects focus on understanding the engineering problems behind a system — from race conditions and idempotency and database architecture.
I also write technical case studies and build personal tools to explore ideas in practice. Currently, I'm deepening my understanding of Generative AI and how it can be applied to the systems I build.
My approach: understand the root cause, design clear architecture, implement with proper observability.
Engineering case studies — technical decisions, tradeoffs, and debugging stories.

Developed a real-time AI-powered Radiation Mapping system using Raspberry Pi 5, LiDAR, Gamma Spectrometer, GPS, and OpenCV. Implemented 2D heatmaps, 3D SLAM-based Digital Twin visualization, and live telemetry dashboards.
Built a scalable Stadium Booking System using Java, Spring Boot, JWT, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL with secure REST APIs and booking management.
Developed an AI-driven Spotify recommendation engine using machine learning to provide personalized music recommendations with rich song metadata.
Where I've applied Software engineering in production and Development.
Research and development of the RADMAP framework integrating Raspberry Pi 5, LiDAR, gamma spectroscopy, IoT, real-time sensor fusion, radiation mapping, and Digital Twin technologies for intelligent environmental monitoring.
Contributed to the RADMAP project by integrating Raspberry Pi 5, LiDAR, gamma spectroscopy, and IoT technologies to develop real-time radiation mapping, interactive dashboards, and 3D Digital Twin visualization.
